With the aim of promoting sustainable energy applications, Growatt has set up a laboratory in Shenzhen, China, together with global semiconductor company TI (Texas Instruments). The venture aims to the manufacturer in using TI's advanced technologies and products to achieve an optimized photovoltaic energy storage solution.
The idea is for Growatt’s R&D engineers to bring new updates and innovations in energy efficiency, functional safety and smart inverter application solutions. “Establishing a t laboratory with TI will enable us to develop smart, powerful and reliable solar inverters and storage batteries that can reshape the future of energy,” said David Ding, CEO of Growatt.
“By leveraging TI’s cutting-edge semiconductor technologies, we will be able to accelerate advances in solar PV and storage technologies to help our communities achieve their carbon neutral goals,” he highlighted.
Ryan Wang, general manager of TI Shenzhen Office, also commented on the partnership and highlighted that ing innovation in new areas of infrastructure, such as industrial systems, is an important initiative for IT.
For Talyson Alves, marketing manager at Growatt in Brazil, “this agreement strengthens the company's commitment to developing the best and most innovative solutions, always enabling the delivery of a modern and tested product for Brazilian soil”.
