A Hopewind This year, it launched equipment to boost the growth of large-scale solar installations in Brazil. This is the string inverter de 330 kW, developed to meet the demand of Brazilian market.

displayed during Intersolar South America, the equipment is equipped with an advanced refrigeration system that allows it to operate at full power without losses, even at ambient temperatures of 45°C.

According to the company, this characteristic makes it perfectly adaptable to the hot operating environment and for large photovoltaic projects in Brazil, allowing it to achieve higher power levels and reducing the LCOE (levelized cost of energy).

The inverter also features PLC communication for integration with control systems, eliminating the need for extensive cabling and reducing installation costs for project owners.

Another point emphasized by the manufacturer is that the solution includes a vital PID recovery function, which can assist in repairing degraded modules to extend life expectancy, as well as having a DPS (surge protection device).

Technical in Brazil

Alex Hsu, national director of Hopewind in Brazil, highlighted that the company's highlight is a specialized technical service and high quality in the country

“At the beginning of this year, in March, we opened our office in Sorocaba (SP), which has a group of experienced solar energy professionals ready to offer immediate , in Portuguese and on site”, he highlighted.

According to Hsu, the company has also established an inventory with a storage capacity of 15 MW, which can significantly shorten logistics and after-sales service time.
