House with off-grid system generates its own energy in the Brazilian cerrado

According to BYD, the house was ready in December 2019 and the installed system guarantees energy generation

“I am very pleased and surprised. The energy doesn't run out. In fact, the off-grid system with lithium iron phosphate batteries works perfectly.” This is the testimony of actress and event producer, Narciza Leão, who benefited from the installation of an off-grid system, mainly suitable for applications in remote locations, where the conventional electrical supply network is not enough.

Narciza has a house located in Cavalcante – GO, in Chapada dos Veadeiros. Among some options on the solar energy market, it was a 3KVA off-grid system with a BYD B-Box battery, with a monthly generation of 270Kwh/, that made her dream possible: living in a residence that generates its own energy and does not harm the environment.

According to BYD, the house was ready in December 2019 and the installed system guarantees the generation of energy for all equipment designed such as the pool pump, lighting, fans, refrigerator and basic appliances.

“My neighbors, who opted for stationary batteries, are unable to connect all the equipment that I can, such as a pool pump and blender. And they are still surprised by problems with power outages”, commented Narciza.

Natália Maestá, engineer and director of the company Fonte Solar, responsible for assembling the system in the country house, highlighted the advantages of installing an off-grid system, which guarantees, for example, the supply of energy in farms, indigenous villages, Quilombos and Basic Health Units in areas with little access.

“With BYD’s off-grid system of lithium iron phosphate batteries, it is possible to enable not only lighting, but also the operation of refrigerators to store chilled food or even vaccines, milk coolers, ensuring communication, the operation of air conditioning, fans and even water pumping systems”, concluded Natália.
