A Hoymiles announced that it is about to launch a solution for photovoltaic systems that reduces installation time by 70%.

The solution has two groups of accessories designed specifically for photovoltaic systems: one of them is suitable for plants that use several microinverters, and the other is aimed at smaller plants that use just one microinverter.

Composed of a set of accessories for connecting multiple microinverters in one system, the product includes a new trunk connector, extension cable connector, disconnect tool, among others.

With these ready-to-use components, companhia stated that customers will save a lot of time in installing the microinverter system.

Furthermore, designed for photovoltaic projects with just one microinverter in residential use, this solution allows s to connect the microinverter directly to the AC cable to complete the connection to the grid.

Hoymiles’ goal with the solution

According to the company, cost and time are a priority for s and installers of solar energy systems (as well as for anyone else working in this field).

Conventional setups often require a lot of manual effort to disconnect, strip, and connect wires. Practically all systems require this type of work.

Hoymiles' goal is to overhaul traditional installation methods to reduce technical barriers and improve the customer experience to make PV installations easier.

“Innovation is not just about creating new concepts or technologies, but also adapting and improving existing solutions to simplify things for customers,” explained Steven Zhang, chief product officer at Hoymiles.

“Our new accessories will greatly simplify the installation process. With this, installers will be able to work in more plants and s will also be able to try to install their own systems, as our plug and play technology does not require as much technical effort”, he highlighted.

What differentiates the solution and accessories?

According to the manufacturer, the new product sures traditional solutions in several fundamental aspects. Are they:

Plug and play

Accessories minimize complex processing and manual wire connection work, eliminating problems caused by incorrect connection and improving installation quality. Furthermore, they reported that the new solution does not distinguish between male and female connectors, preventing the exchange of connectors.

Maximum flexibility

The accessories can be used immediately, with minimal preparation and wiring, ensuring quality control from the start. Hoymiles also offers different sizes of ready-to-use cables, allowing customers to mix and match components according to project needs and reduce material costs.

Designed for compatibility

Regarding the new accessories, they are compatible with the current HMS series of single-phase microinverters, so customers do not need to worry about compatibility issues.

“Easy system design”

Since the number of accessories in the set is fewer than with traditional connection options, Hoymiles emphasized that customers only need to make simple calculations for system design and design, reducing material waste.

Reliability

Designed to operate in the ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the accessories can operate at higher currents when the PV system is in use. And with an IP68 rating, there is full protection against solids and water, even in adverse weather conditions such as storms.

  1. Good morning, it was but when it's time to improve, think about how complicated it is to install it, the Daye microphone is already like this, just like you intend to launch it in the market,

  2. Please provide me with a for HMS Hoymiles as I am an electrical engineer and carry out solar energy projects. Thank you very much in advance.
