Hypontech launches three-phase HPT inverters with 30-50kW coverage

Manufacturer expands portfolio to expand its solutions for commercial photovoltaic systems

With the aim of expanding its presence in the Brazilian photovoltaic market, Hypontech will make its new three-phase inverter, the HPT 30-50 kW, available in Brazil from August. According to the manufacturer, the inverter launched this month is ideal for commercial installations, both in rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems.

The equipment has an integrated and adaptable design, with an IP65 degree of protection in the cover and cast aluminum casing, four MPPTs, maximum current input of 16A, dual-core Texas Instrument DSP, and Class II DC overvoltage protections.

“Equipped with eight string inputs and four MPP trackers, the HPT 30-50 kW allows for different module orientations and shading, but is also compatible with solar s rated above 600 W with a maximum input current of 16A. It also has great adaptability to various types of solar projects, allowing up to 50% photovoltaic overload and 1.100 Vdc,” the company said in a statement to Canal Solar.

Also according to the manufacturer, the inverter has a patented tracking and control algorithm in HPT inverters. Its processor can operate at 800 MIPs (million instructions per second) allowing dynamic tracking of solar energy despite varying intensity to maximize throughput.

Real Time

The HPT offers a wide range of options for monitoring solutions. According to Hypontech, in the lower connection area, the HPT 30-50 kW enables communication via RS 485, Wi-Fi, GPRS and Ethernet. And with the integration of Hypontech's HiManager, a 1 to 32 megawatt data controller, monitoring PV projects is easier and more cost-effective. In addition, remote and notification in the event of a fault can be enabled via connection to HiPortal, which reduces service and maintenance costs.

More Features

  • Stable HPT production below 0,5% DCI;
  • Conversion efficiency up to 98,8%;
  • HPT aluminum chassis fully cast and coated with AkzoNobel protective spray;
