Chinese manufacturer HYXiPOWER has just announced a strategic partnership with Connectoway Solar, a promising distributor of photovoltaic equipment in Brazil. The goal is to expand its operations in the country and offer high thermal efficiency solutions for the solar market.
According to Matheus Gimenes, Channel Sales Engineer at HYXiPOWER, the partnership was motivated by Connectoway's ability to quickly serve different regions and customer profiles. integrators.
“Connectoway chose us because we work with large-scale equipment, with quality and components from recognized brands in the market. This guarantees greater safety and performance for the integrator,” he explained.
Gimenes highlighted that the company's microinverters are designed to operate efficiently even at high temperatures – a fundamental characteristic for Brazil's climate conditions.
“Our microinverter has lower thermal efficiency losses, which extends the power generation curve. Internally, it s up to 84°C and externally up to 60°C,” he explained. The company is also preparing to launch versions with higher power, anticipating future market trends and regulatory requirements.
Luzer Oliveira, head of Connectoway's Solar Energy business unit, also commented on the importance of the partnership and emphasized that the company has always valued quality.
“Our goal was never to be the biggest, but rather the best: to offer the best service, the best product, the best technical and the best pre- and post-sales service. And that was exactly the kind of trust we found in HYXiPOWER – something we had been looking for for a long time,” he said.
“The microinverter market requires a lot of rework, both for the distributor and the integrator. When maintenance is needed, for example, the technical professional needs to return to the installation, remove the module and access the microinverter, a process that can take a lot of time and add extra costs. Therefore, it is essential to have a reliable product, from a large corporation, that brings something truly different”, reported Luzer.
According to him, the HYXiPOWER microinverter has a 25-year warranty and superior thermal tolerance. “While many lose performance before reaching 60 degrees of ambient temperature, the HYXiPOWER microinverter continues to operate and only begins to reduce power after 60 degrees. This gave us security and showed a very strong alignment of values, a true conceptual match between the companies’ DNAs.”
Expanded portfolio and storage solutions
In addition to microinverters and string inverters, HYXiPOWER is keeping an eye on the growing demand for energy storage systems. The company will bring to Brazil, by the end of this year, high and low voltage batteries, and all-in-one systems with smart meters and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System).
“Our focus is to provide smart technology with an extended warranty: 25 years for microinverters and 15 years for string inverters,” said Gimenes. He emphasizes that the brand is committed to innovation and adapted to the specificities of the Brazilian market. “We tropicalize our products with more than 300 experimental tests to ensure optimal performance on national soil.”
Logistics structuring and expansion for small distributors
According to André Santin, commercial director of HYXiPOWER in Brazil, the choice of Connectoway also took into the distributor’s reach and reputation. “We studied the Connectoway market carefully, as it already works with renowned brands. The idea is not to compete solely on price, but to add value to the products. Our plan goes further: we want to transform it into a master distributor to reach small regional distributors that are still unable to import,” he said.
The goal is to ensure that integrators from all over Brazil, especially those in regions far from major cities, have easy access to the brand’s equipment. “We want to reach these smaller customers directly. The North is on our radar and Connectoway already has a structured transportation network in these regions. States such as Pará and Amazonas are growing rapidly, and we will monitor them closely,” added Santin.
