Um study released by CNI (National Confederation of Industry) points out that the industrial sector is now responsible for consumption of 41% of all energy produced in Brazil.

What many people still don't know is that equipment present in everyday life manufacturing facilities, such as engines and compressors, have a significant impact on this energy demand.

In this way, according to the study, the investments in energy efficiency are crucial to stopping not only the use of polluting sources as well as for stimulate the competitiveness of companies in the market.

Currently, almost 40 thousand industries in Brazil already have a solar energy system installed on DG segment (distributed generation), according to data of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

One of the industries that has benefited from solar sources, for example, is the BAC Group, with the installation of a 420 kWp system at the manufacturing unit in São Gotardo (MG).

The photovoltaic plant is expected to generate close to 50.000 kW through 740 555 Wp solar s. All equipment used, including inverters, is from WEG.

The company is a carrot processor. In other words, it receives carrots from small and medium-sized producers to carry out the entire cleaning process before they are sold throughout the country.
