In the last week of October, the manufacturer Canadian Solar made a donation to the AOPA (Association of Pavonian Assistance Works), which operates in Belo Horizonte (MG).
Coordinated by INEL (National Institute of Clean Energy), the initiative impacted more than 480 children and adolescents from neighboring communities in the region where the project was carried out.
“Promoting sustainability is more than just encouraging the adoption of clean energy sources. Encouraging inclusion actions are 'planted seeds' that will show results in the near future”, highlights Cristiano Piroli, director of direct sales at the manufacturer.
Another point highlighted by the executive is that, in addition to the modules, the system will also be expanded with Canadian Solar storage solutions.
AOPA, an association dedicated to comprehensive care for children and adolescents and the professionalization of young people and adults from surrounding communities.
Communities such as Barragem Santa Lúcia, Morro do Papagaio, Vila São José, Conjunto Santa Maria, Vila Leonina, Vila Estrela and Morro das Pedras, will enjoy all the benefits generated by the project.
“We are constantly working to make a difference in our industry, with actions that generate a lasting positive impact on society. Part of our sustainability strategy involves commitments and partnerships with the community to leave a better world for future generations”, concludes Piroli.
