A photovoltaic module manufacturer JA Solar consolidated its presence in the Brazilian market with the strengthening of strategic business partnerships with the companies Aldo, Amara, Ecori, (re)energisa (formerly Alsol), Fortlev, PHB and Win.
In evaluating the Fernando Castro, the company's country manager, last year the manufacturer had excellent results in Brazil due to the company's investments in the country and, mainly, due to the work together with strategic partners.
“We were able to assemble a robust internal team, with experienced and market professionals. We strategically aligned demands with customers and the result was t growth,” points out Castro.
To celebrate these partnerships, JA Solar presented each of its strategic partners with a recognition trophy. The delivery took place in face-to-face meetings with the participation of directors and teams from partner companies.
Brazilian market
Analyzing the solar sector in Brazil, Castro highlights that despite variations in polysilicon prices and restricted availability, caused by the impacts of the war in Ukraine, JA Solar maintained regular supply to customers.
“Since its inception, JA Solar has placed quality as a benchmark for its brand and has established a refined quality management and verticalization system that covers the entire industry chain. From the R&D stages of product development, the internal production process of wafers, cells and modules, testing, shipping and finally, transport. The company has strict controls to ensure the highest quality products and services,” he added.

Still in the executive's assessment, the Brazilian market has responded to JA's stance. “JA rose six positions in Greener’s “Top 10 Most ed” report, moving from ninth position to third. While in the Fotovolt Magazine survey, it was the second most chosen for bifacial modules, jumping from 7,8% in 2022 to 19,2% in 2023. A growth of 146% compared to the same period last year”, concluded Castro.
