Module manufacturer JA Solar has upgraded its Deep Blue 3.0 module line to include the JAM78D30 family, featuring 78-cell modules with a record generation capacity of 605 Wp and 21,6% efficiency, for specific use in the DG (distributed generation) segment and large-scale projects.
According to the company, this new model will inherit all the differentials and mechanical dimensions of the previous 72-cell model, that is, it will feature high-efficiency PERC cells, 182mm PERCIUM+ and silicon wafers doped with Gallium and currents around 13 A.
“The product will have great performance in of reliability, efficiency, energy generation and compatibility with all curve A equipment. This will efficiently reduce the LCOE, levelized cost of energy, as well as the BOS by reducing the number of components in a photovoltaic system ,” the company stated.
Also according to the manufacturer, the standard modules with 182 mm cells have clear advantages in their technological maturity, being one of the differences when compared with other high power modules offered by other manufacturers.
