To meet the growing demand for jobs in the solar energy sector, Brazil has increasingly offered training, mentoring and professional qualification programs. Proof of this is the more than 90 jobs generated by the sector in the last two years alone, according to data from the ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association).
The distributor TenBrasil, for example, is one of the Brazilian companies that offers a mentoring program for both beginners – who are starting their careers in the sector – and for students who already have more experience in the field but are looking to update themselves. The program, called Method 10, is taught by professionals from the photovoltaic sector. Interested parties can by clicking here.
Another company that has also invested in training professionals is Senai (National Industrial Training Service). Earlier this month, the educational institution revealed that it will launch training courses for the solar sector in ten units of its education network.
These courses include, for example, the PV system installer and the renewable energy system design courses. The project is ed by ABSOLAR and each of the ten units received equipment donations through partnerships with companies in the sector.
