A Kehua Tech announced during the Intersolar Europe, its most recent energy storage system solution – S³-ESTation 2.0 + BCS5000K-B-HUD/T.

The product integrates a liquid cooled battery system of 5 MWh and a MV Skid of 5 MW, offering s, according to the company, a safe, intelligent and efficient solution for large-scale applications.

Still according to the company, the multipoint monitoring installed in the container 5 MWh liquid cooling system provides rapid fire warning.

“The cooperation of a three-level fire protection system – modular fire extinguishing device at package level, aerosol fire extinguishing at cluster level and sprinkler fire protection at compartment level – ensures security and reliability of the solution”, highlighted the manufacturer.

According to Kehua, to combat the effect of imbalance between clusters, they developed cluster-level optimizers, making the most of each to improve the usable capacity of the energy storage system.

"With wide SCR range, cold start function e high tolerance to phase angle change, the storage solution is capable of providing strong for the global electrical grid”, they highlighted.

Other advantages

The company's liquid cooling system further reduces the temperature difference between cells to 2℃ within the cluster, reducing the difference in cell life caused by temperature variation and improving the overall capacity of the system.

Furthermore, the company stated that with the development of firmware, a one-click update management function is available, allowing upgrade a 100 MW plant in 15 minutes, significantly increasing operation and maintenance efficiency.

“With greater cell capacity and structure upgrade, EStation 2.0 achieved a 45% increase in density, effectively reducing the space requirement of the energy storage system. A complete integration pre-assembled and tested in the factory provides a better on-site installation experience. Unobstructed standard-size shipping makes shipping the device simpler and cheaper,” concluded Kehua.
