MME and IDB seek companies for energy market consultancy work

Initiative integrates partnership between the ministry and the bank to modernize the Brazilian electricity sector

The MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) and the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) are looking for interested companies to develop work on consultancy on the evolution of energy market operations.

Os interested to participate in the project must express themselves until next Wednesday (09)Companies wishing to send expressions of interest should access the link https://www.iadb.org/en/project/BR-T1529 and follow the guidelines indicated on the page.

The initiative has the financial from the British fund UKSIP (UK Sustainable Infrastructure Program) and technical from CCEE (Electricity Trading Chamber), beneficiary institution of the study.

“The objective is to promote the modernization of the Brazilian electricity sector, strengthening institutional, technical and regulatory capabilities to promote greater integration of low-carbon technologies into the Brazilian energy matrix,” said the MME in a press release.
