A TSSE (Social Electricity Tariff) is a program Federal government that offers discounts on electricity bills for low-income families. The benefit can reach 100% discount

According to ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), the program already serves more than 17 million families. However, there is a contingent of 7,7 million families that are entitled to TSSE, but they do not use it for various reasons.

To receive the benefit, families must be ed in CadÚnico. In 2021, registration became automatic by cross-referencing data from CadÚnico and the distributors' systems.
