A fintech My Solar Financing, a solution BV bank specialized in financing for photovoltaic projects in Brazil, launched a new financial product intended for the acquisition of EV (electric vehicle) chargers, both for residential use and commercial establishments.

The solution is being presented in Intersolar Summit Nordeste, which takes place between April 18th and 19th, at the Ceará Events Center, in Fortaleza.

According to the company, the product will be made available through the BV and Meu Financiamento Solar platforms. The acquisition of EV chargers can be done individually or integrated with the installation of modules on the roofs of homes and businesses.

The intention is to serve owners of photovoltaic s, electric and hybrid vehicles and consumers in general who are looking for new energy and sustainable solutions for their homes, businesses and means of transport.

“Solar energy is gaining more and more space in BV’s business portfolio. In the last quarter of last year, our solar financing operation increased by 85% compared to the same period in 2021”, said Mariana Granata, Solar superintendent at Banco BV.

“This new solution reinforces our commitment to allowing the democratization of access to investments in clean energy, in synergy with the bank’s ESG commitment agenda”, he emphasized.

According to Carolina Reis, director of Meu Financiamento Solar, the proposal with the new solution for charging points is to make EVs increasingly accessible to consumers in general.

“The development of solutions is the main pillar of the company’s DNA, which comes from the digital economy with a focus on the customer and market trends in the area of ​​sustainability”, he commented.

Solar energy in Ceara

Data from ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy), the self-generation of solar energy has already attracted R$3,1 billion in investments to Ceará, created more than 18,1 thousand jobs and raised more than R$865 million for public coffers.

The region has 604,5 MW in operation in homes, businesses, industries, rural properties and public buildings. Currently, there are more than 60,4 electricity consumers who already have a reduction in their electricity bill and greater autonomy and electrical reliability.
