JA Solar's new campaign advocates history and includes the production chain

Focused on prioritizing Quality , efficiency e releases of new technologies, the JA Solar further consolidated its presence in the Brazilian market with the launch of a Campanha of communication and marketing.

With the central theme “What are your greatest memories?”, the company contemplates the legacy of one of the largest manufacturers of photovoltaic modules in the world, integrating the entire cycle of the chain, from manufacturing, distribution, integration/installation to the end customer.

In addition to the advertising pieces available on all social networks, the video “The JA Solar legacy, 18 years exploring limits”, which can be accessed on the channel YouTube.

According to the company, one of the main objectives is brand recognition and the history that makes JA Solar present in one in every six solar s sold worldwide.

The campaign also highlights the performance of the products with nine international certifications, the presence in more than 135 countries, the registration of patents – which exceed 1.200 – and the installation tips they brought to the photovoltaic market – through training via training and videos educational.

In 2023, the global brand also released a series of short videos on YouTube. Among them, one showing the precautions that must be taken to avoid so-called “fake power” or “fake ” and another with tips on how to protect investment in photovoltaic systems.

“We participated in several technical webinars with the launch of the N-Type modules, we created several actions and also short training videos, available on our website and YouTube, aiming to convey relevant information in a simple way to our customers, integrators and even end s, who They were a success with more than 130 thousand views to date”, emphasized Castro.

Another highlight of the campaign is the certifications that JA Solar has received throughout its history in the segment. The company, which was founded in 2005, has nine certifications. Among them are the classifications received by PV Tech, RETC, PVEL, EUPD Research, TUV SÜD, UL Solutions, BNEF, ETL from Intertek and the Inmetro seal.

Of the more than 150 existing manufacturers, 45 are listed in the Bloomberg T1 financial ranking, 35 were certified by the PVEL laboratory, eight have quality certification by RETC and only three have AAA certification by PVTech.

O Triple A, as it is known, is based on a comprehensive analysis of a company's performance across metrics including shipments, production capacity, technology and financial position, with the company scoring highly in each of these areas.

Among the manufacturers that have the AAA rating, the highest in the ranking, is JA Solar. According to the 2022 annual report, its total revenue was CNY 72,989 billion, an increase of 76,72% compared to the previous year, with a net profit attributable to the parent company of CNY 5,533 billion, an increase of 171,4% compared to to 2021.

Partnerships signed

According to the executive, in 2023, despite the difficulties faced by the market, JA Solar stood out with the growth of several existing partnerships, such as with (re)energisa, Faro Energy, Aldo, Fortlev, Ecori, Win, PHB, Amara, Ribeiro, among others, as well as new partners such as Bold, WEG, RZK and others.

“We also maintained our Bonded Warehouse and were able to maintain and hire new highly qualified professionals, which I call a true 'Dream Team', focusing on the commercial, distribution, GD and utilities areas, with a strong technical, operations and marketing area. and constant focus on sustainable growth”, added the Country Manager.

Events and releases

In addition to Intersolar, the company was present at other events in the sector, such as Solar 360 and the Canal Connect, congress held by Canal Solar in São Paulo (SP).

“We were also able to start local for GRAAC Hospital, and constantly collaborating to the hospital’s operations”, reported Fernando Castro.

Regarding launches, JA will make the P-Type JAM72D30/LB model, from the Deep Blue 3.0 series, available in the coming months, which has an efficiency of up to 21,9% and a power of 580 W.

In addition, it will launch the N-Type JAM66D45/LB model, from the Deep Blue 4.0 series, with efficiency of up to 22,8% and power of 615 W, and the N-Type JAM72D42/LB , also from the Deep Blue 4.0 series, with efficiency of up to 22,5% and power of 630 W.

“For 2024, our objectives remain the same since my first day of operation at JA Brasil: to be one of the leaders in the segment providing high quality modules with competitive prices, strengthened sales channels and the best service on the market”, he concluded.

JA Solar Foundation

Headquartered in the capital Beijing, JA Solar operates factories throughout China, as well as in Malaysia and Vietnam, targeting the American market. The brand's history began in 2005 through the efforts of Jin Baofang.

The name JA comes from the initial of Jinglong Group, of which Baofang is the main shareholder. The letter A comes from Australia, as the brand was created through two Australian companies.
