The ONS (National System Operator) has taken another significant step in its innovation strategy by introducing “Tiago”, a generative artificial intelligence designed to optimize research and access to documents.

The new tool was created with cutting-edge cloud computing technologies and uses LLMs (Large Scale Language Models) to process and integrate the vast knowledge stored in the documents of the Operator.

The development prioritized principles such as ethics, cybersecurity, transparency and data protection. Tiago has a database of approximately 1,7 documents, including the Network Procedures and the Operation Procedures Manual.

Its objective goes beyond offering advanced interactions: the tool promises to transform knowledge management in ONS, facilitating strategic decisions with greater efficiency and agility.

Initially available only to ONS employees, Tiago is expected to expand its reach in the future and begin serving other audiences, such as industry agents, students and university professors, among others.
