O ONS (National Electrical System Operator) projects growth in cargo demand No. without (National Interconnected System) in 4,3% (76.173 MWmed) according to the bulletin PMO (Monthly Operation Program) of the last week of August (24th to 30th).

All os subsystems also project high, the most significant percentages should be seen in the North and South regions, with 80,2% and 66,8%, respectively. The Northeast should end the month at 56,2% and the Southeast/Central-West at 55,4%.  

Os Reservoir levels are within expectations for the period typically dry. A reduction in these levels is also expected in the coming months. 

Among the submarkets, the biggest advance is expected in the Northeast, with 9,0% (12.893 MWmed), followed by the North, with 7,2% (8.051 MWmed). The South and Southeast/Central-West should present an acceleration of 6,5% (13.084 MWmed) and 1,7% (42.145 MWmed), respectively. 

A comparison is made between the numbers verified in the same period of 2023 and estimated for August 2024.

O CMO (Marginal Operating Cost) is equalized at R$ 94,25 in all regions, with a reduction of 4,01% compared to the last projection.
