Ypê, a company in the hygiene and cleaning sector, has entered into a new self-production partnership with Casa dos Ventos, in a solar park, approved by Cade (istrative Council for Economic Defense) in office published in the DOU (Official Gazette of the Union) last Wednesday (4).

According to the information presented, the operation involves the Fótons de São Cláudio Energias Renováveis ​​park, which is not yet in operation. The project will be implemented at the Babilônia Sul Solar Complex, located in the state of Bahia. 

In total, the project has a granted capacity of 44,99 MW and is exclusively aimed at the Free Energy Market.

Earlier this year, Casa dos Ventos announced its entry into the solar energy market and future development for green fuels.

At a press conference held on February 20, Lucas Araripe, the company's executive director, reported that by the beginning of 2026 the company intends to have 4,2 GW of installed capacity in renewable energy in its portfolio, with 3,1 GW of wind generation and 1,1 GW of solar projects. 

The investment to generate this power by 2026 will be around R$12 billion, including projects that are already underway and new isolated plants.
