O international market of photovoltaic inputs ed a new round of price drops during the month of April, according to data from the weekly bulletins of InfoLink Consulting, to which the Canal Solar has access.

Among the highlights, polysilicon fell by US$20,00/kg and US$19,00/kg between the first and last week of the month. Wafers, on the other hand, recorded a sharper decline, falling from US$0,165 to US$0,146 per piece in the previous month.

Photovoltaic cells also showed a drop in market values. Type-P technologies went from US$0,04/W to US$0,039/W, while Type-N technologies fell from US$0,041/W to US$0,040/W in the same time interval.

Regarding photovoltaic modules, the average prices of PERC and TOPCon models remained stable in April, at US$ 0,08/W and US$ 0,09/W, respectively. HJT (heterojunction) modules saw a slight reduction, going from US$ 0,105 to US$ 0,104/W.

The data from InfoLink Consulting refer to the variation observed between the first and last week of April and reflect market movements often influenced by factors such as inventory, adjustments in the production chain and acceleration or deceleration of new installations in some countries.
