In addition to monitoring, the company also showcased releases such as QDCA Core, an effective solution to protect installations against atmospheric discharges from the electrical distribution network.

Another new feature of the company was the EV Core, a protective device for vehicle chargers. In the company's view, with the growth of electric mobility, ensuring the integrity of charging equipment is critical, and the EV Core offers a reliable solution to this growing demand.

Renan Garcia, coordinator of the Solar Division at Proauto Electric, highlights that the solutions designed for improve the operational efficiency of photovoltaic plants, from advanced monitoring systems to protection devices against bad weather and electrical surges, caught the attention of fair attendees.

He further assesses that Proauto Eletric's presence at Intersolar South America 2023 represented a significant step towards strengthening its position as a leader in providing innovative solutions for the photovoltaic and automation sector.

“Intersolar South America is the ideal stage to present our innovations and consolidate our presence in the solar energy market. We are committed to offering advanced solutions that not only optimize the performance of photovoltaic plants, but also guarantee their durability and operational safety”, he stated.

“With products designed to meet the specific needs of the rapidly evolving market, the company is ready to play a vital role in the future of solar energy in Brazil and beyond,” he added.

Brazilian solar market

Operating in both the DG (distributed generation) and GC (centralized generation) segments, Proauto Eletric shared its perspective on the Brazilian solar market in the coming months.

In the company's assessment, the solar sector in Brazil faces some difficulties, especially in the distributed generation segment. However, Proauto Electric firmly believes that these challenges are about to give way to a more positive scenario in the coming months.

“The DG market is suffering, but this should start to change. I believe that we will have a moment of stock burning, as many equipment distributors are well supplied, and then there will be a revival of the distributed generation market with new demands”, said Garcia.

For him, the DG segment was affected by challenging regulatory and tariff issues that temporarily affected the sector's growth. However, Proauto Electric believes that the growing awareness about the benefits of solar energy, along with possible changes to policies and regulations, will pave the way for the revival of the sport

The company also emphasized that the continued reduction in the costs of Solar systems will make this option more attractive to residential and commercial consumers.

Proauto Electric's outlook for the centralized generation segment is optimistic. The company highlighted that this sector is operating at full steam, with several significant investments in large-scale solar power plants across the country

The company highlights that the Brazil has enormous potential for solar energy generation, taking advantage of its sunny climate and vast areas of land available for solar plants. These factors, combined with growing demand for clean energy, are driving the growth of centralized generation.

Overall, Proauto Electric pointed out that technological advances and innovations in photovoltaic systems are making solar energy an even more attractive option for investors and entrepreneurs.

“We believe that the solar market in Brazil will continue to expand and evolve in a positive way, playing a fundamental role in the country's transition to a more sustainable energy matrix”, commented Garcia.

“We are excited about the future of the Brazilian solar market. We believe that, despite temporary challenges, the solar energy sector is on a solid growth trajectory and will play an increasingly important role in supplying clean and sustainable energy to Brazil”, concluded Garcia.
