The senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP) should assume the presidency of the Green Hydrogen Mixed Parliamentary Front of the National Congress. The objective is to address the development agenda and increase investments in renewable energy sources.
With the of the INEL (National Institute of Clean Energy), the Front is in the development process, awaiting the necessary signatures for its installation.
The invitation to Senator Randolfe was made last Thursday (16) and the parliamentarian promptly accepted. Lafayette de Andrada, federal deputy from the Republican party of Minas Gerais, was the name indicated for coordination.
During meetings designed to discuss the matter, the Interministerial GT (Interministerial Working Group), with the participation of both departments and with the and participation of INEL.
The project was created to expand the debate with companies in the sector that make up the INEL Green Hydrogen Secretariat, in order to help the government with subsidies regarding strategies for the development of the Brazilian H2V (green hydrogen) market.
According to a Heber Galarce, president of INEL, Actions in the Legislative and Executive Branches on H2V are fundamental to advancing the development of the renewable source which, according to him, Brazil has great potential.
“The creation of the Mixed Parliamentary Front for Green Hydrogen of the National Congress, which will be chaired by Senator Randolfe Rodrigues, and the Interministerial GT will be able to work in synergy and in favor of a common interest: promoting a t construction of incentives to make this potential market viable of Green Hydrogen in the country”, he concluded.
