Um survey by Greener consultancy revealed the ranking of the main companies that manufacture solar trackers and fixed structures for DG (distributed generation) projects in Brazil in 2024. According to the research, the total volume of energy contracted for more than 2,2 plants in the period, which are located in more than 1 cities, was 7,4 GWp.
Of the nine companies listed – suppliers for large DG plants, with projects above 500 kWp of installed capacity – one of the highlights was the Spanish company Axial, which is in the top 3 of companies with the highest volume of MW contracted in 2024 via projects.
For David Lôbo Sigismondi, commercial director of Axial in Brazil, the company’s position in the ranking is more than just a number. “This achievement represents market recognition of Axial and our products. In three years, we are already among the largest tracker manufacturers in Brazil.”
“This says a lot about the solidity of our engineering, the market’s confidence in what we offer and, most importantly, about our excellent and on-time delivery. It’s not just about selling trackers, it’s about ensuring that each project performs as planned,” he emphasized. With 20 years of history, projects in more than 40 countries and offices in Europe, Asia and North and South America, Axial arrived in Brazil in 2022.
The companies listed in the ranking of the main manufacturers of solar trackers for DG projects participated in the survey voluntarily, and the data of those that completed all the fields of the questionnaire were evaluated, considering: project identification; location of the project; and DG contracts for projects closed until the end of last year.
