O SergipeTec, installed in São Cristóvão (SE), Is first Brazilian technology park 100% renewable use solar energy on your premises. The structure is a solar carport of 546 m² built on the site's parking lot. 

A first stage of the work, budgeted at R$465 thousand, has been completed and has the capacity to generate 15.000 kWh monthly. 

"The the project of clean energy at SergipeTec is a project that, in addition to providing a large financial savings estimated at R$12 thousand per month, will play a fundamentally important role in reducing carbon dioxide emissions”, comments Áureo Oliveira do Nascimento, electrical engineer responsible for the project.

José Augusto de Carvalho, CEO of SergipeTec, said that the generated energy will be compensated in the form of credits for the rebate of several SergipeTec consumer units. 

"The completion of this first stage represents an advance in the renewable energy sector and it will certainly be better when the second stage of the Solar Energy Plant scheduled for the next few months is completed”, he comments.
