The Brazilian delegation was received by Huawei's Global President of Public Affairs and Communications, Wang Jianfeng; by the Head of the Oil and Gas Sector of Huawei Enterprise BG, Han Shuo; and by the CEO of Huawei Brazil, Jacky Gao.

The visit is part of the Brazilian government's agenda in the Asian country, which aims to identify technologies with potential for application in the national market.

The focus is especially on energy storage solutions, especially through the holding of Brazil's first battery auction – scheduled to take place in November of this year, despite the recent cancellation of the Capacity Reservation Auction.

The event aims to promote the large-scale adoption of storage systems, contributing to greater flexibility and security of the national electricity system, especially in times of peak demand or climate instability.
