A SMA launched in Intersolar Europe, held in June in , the new line of hybrid single-phase inverters, facing the residential photovoltaic market.
“It's not just an inverter, it's an energy management system for your home. The solution, in this case, comes with artificial intelligence and IoT (Internet of Things) functions integrated”, said André Gellers, country manager at SMA in Brazil.
“You will have several expansion modules, with storage, as well as the possibility of charging the electric car. You can even control when your equipment will work, using IoT functions”, he highlighted.
According to Gellers, the technology is very well suited to the Brazilian market, as it is a single-phase solution, which can be expanded into storage and electrical charging systems with integrated software systems, such as ShadeFix, which protects against shadows on the roof.
“And a very good news is that these systems have 3 MPPTs, which connect at low voltage. This way, you will be able to accommodate different string sizes in MPPTs with better balance and energy balance”, emphasized the executive.
European market
The European market, according to him, is growing when it comes to energy storage. “Today, everyone thinks about having energy independence due to several factors, due to the variation in the cost of energy and the dependence on energy from external sources, for example”.
“In Italy alone, in the first three months, more than 80 thousand residential systems with batteries were connected to the grid. This shows what it will be like in Brazil soon,” she concluded.

In reality, I would like you to arrive in Bolivia soon to be on the agenda and I would like to be CONSESIONARY of the product, thanks saludos.
I would like more information on the subject, as I am very interested.
Good day.
I would like to know when and for what price this single-phase hybrid inverter will arrive in Brazil.
