A new software was launched in the Brazilian photovoltaic market with the aim of improving the way in which the stages of commissioning, operation and maintenance of solar plants.

Baptized Systemon, the platform acts as a management and monitoring system based on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

It enables access to technical data on equipment, preventive and corrective maintenance histories, and documents such as manuals and forms — all directly in the field, by reading QR Codes installed on the assets themselves.

The tool works with the of “Tags “smart” devices glued to equipment, which connect physical assets to their respective digital twins.

According to the developers, the operator, when scanning the code, receives service orders on his cell phone and starts the activity, which generates an automatic inspection report.

This means that all tests, interventions and inspections are recorded, providing data for strategic decision-making, performance improvement and operational predictability.

The system was developed by Grupo Temon, a holding company that brings together engineering and operations companies in complex projects, including TTS Energia, responsible for the construction and operation of solar plants in Brazil.

According to Jacques Hulshof, CEO of TTS Energia, the benefits of the new software range from simplicity for operators to input data to analysis by managers.

“This means traceability, augmented reality and the generation of concrete evidence about operation and maintenance work. In other words, the has accurate data for making strategic decisions,” he said.
