JA Solar brings changes to improve logistics and sales channel in Brazil

Recently, the manufacturer was nominated by PV Infolink as the 2nd company that shipped the most PV modules in 2021

The manufacturer JA Solar informed the Canal Solar that for this year will bring investment and innovations that are already highlights abroad. Among them, the commercialization of 580 W monofacial and bifacial modules and reinforcement of the sales team.

In addition, the company will improve its entire customer-focused service structure and has set up specialized sales teams for DG (distributed generation) customers, local technical/engineering , as well as another team for operations at the customs warehouse, scheduled to open this month.

The new customs warehouse will be located in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) to facilitate the logistics of modules for customers. “This space was developed to meet emergency demands for large customers, but we intend to increase the amount of storage at the site,” he explains. Fernando Castro, country manager of JA Solar in Brazil.

The executive also states that providing high-performance products is one of the reliable ways to be with the customer. “Strengthening commercial partnerships with our customers and being considered transparent and strategic when looking for solutions in photovoltaic modules is what JA Solar seeks in its partnerships”, he declares.

Highlight in the market

Recently, JA Solar was named by PV Infolink, a leading solar energy market intelligence and research company, as the second company that sold and shipped the most photovoltaic modules worldwide in 2021.

With a production capacity of 40 GW per year, with 182 mm modules and 540 W power, the company invested in new wafer, cell and module factories in order to maintain productivity and market supply.
