A Flash Energy, a company focused on energy marketing and management, inaugurated a new solar plant de GD (distributed generation) and closed a contract to supply the activities of Soroquality Biotecnologia, a producer of fetal bovine serum for export.

A new solar plant was ready in September this year and has right acquired in GD1. The Plant is located in the rural area of the municipality of Anicuns (GO) and has a total installed capacity of 122,40 kWp, capable of generating 13.400 kWh per month.

In total, Flash Energy invested R$ 600 thousand in construction of the solar plant, which has 240 photovoltaic modules and occupies an area of 4,84 hectares, the equivalent of four football fields.

Tânia Reis, CEO of Flash Energy, explained that the choice of location is strategic for the company's projects. “Goiás has favorable climate conditions for generating solar energy, as it has a flat topography and high levels of solar radiation throughout the year, contributing to the expansion of projects in the region,” he said.

Onofre Júnior, CEO of Soroquality, said that he believes that solar energy has everything to become the main source of the energy matrix national within a few years.

“Due to the environmental impacts we are witnessing, global warming, water shortages, high levels of pollution, the future certainly belongs to solar energy, as it enables expansion, given the huge savings generated,” he said.

This is the second DG contract signed between Flash Energy and Soroquality. In August, the energy manager began operating Flash Caldas – a solar plant built in Caldas Novas (GO) last year and which has 164 photovoltaic s and an installed capacity of 61,5 kWp.
