SolarUnit: DAH Solar microinverter has an efficiency of 97,55%

Bring together the advantages of photovoltaic modules high technology and the benefits of microinverters. This is the objective of SolarUnit, an integrated system from Dah Solar.

According to the company, the solution has a microinverter with maximum efficiency de 97,55%, one of the largest in the solar sector today. Furthermore, it has an IP65 degree of protection and weighs 1,8 kg.

The project already consists of the use of GaN (Gallium Nitride) semiconductors, which is considered the 3rd generation of semiconductors, “bringing benefits in operation, such as less energy spent on power processing and better high frequency responses”.

“The SolarUnit system is considered the first integrated system in the world, as the modules are 100% designed aiming for the best operation of the microinverter and the microinverter is 100% designed to better extract power from the modules, in addition to being completely Plug & Play, facilitating and optimizing facilities”, he emphasized Leonard Rodrigues, LATAM technical manager at DAH Solar.

Below are other features of the equipment.

  • Each microinverter unit operates independently, unlimited installation angle of connected modules and greater modularity on complex roofs;
  • Low current module (6,82 A) with ⅓ cut in the cell, reducing temperature loss, better low light performance and increased system generation;
  • Full-screen module with global patent and self-cleaning capacity, which increases energy production by 6-15% (compared to normal modules);
  • Innovative compatibility system which, due to the combination with the low current , makes the microinverter have a maximum efficiency of 97,55%;
  • Low electric arc formation Isc due to low system current;
  • Remote monitoring and quick shutdown through the intelligent cloud platform, with an application in Portuguese.
