A SolarView, monitoring and after-sales solutions company for the photovoltaic integrator, announced a partnership with the distributor nexen launching a new solution for the sector. This is the 1st Brazilian Smart Meter integrated into solar plants.

According to a Aécio Bolzon, CEO of SolarView, Smart Meter is plug and play, with the aim of facilitating different types of installation, and at a more affordable price than an energy analyzer. Its most common application is the audit of utility company energy bills.

The solution is a smart energy meter with Wi-Fi communication, which enables application as an energy consumption meter, in addition to serving as a work tool, self-consumption and simultaneity meter.

Additionally, every kit is calibrated to ensure measurement quality, so three CTs (current transformers) that accompany the meter are exclusive to the kit in question. “The equipment has tolerance of 1% in the nominal measuring range”, says Bolzon.

“We believe that this partnership with SolarView will allow for broader awareness of the importance of monitoring energy consumption data, which will contribute to the photovoltaic integrator as a major sales differentiator, delivering trust and transparency to the end customer”, highlights Italo De Pra Neto, CEO of Nexen.

With the official announcement of this partnership, expectations are high regarding the positive impact that companies can have on the energy awareness and the adoption of innovative technologies in Brazil.

The product is now available and can be purchased directly from Nexen.
