A SolarZ, a platform that monitors the performance of solar plants, received financial from two nationally recognized investment funds in the Brazilian venture capital market, Bossanova Investments and Domo Invest.

According to the company, the investment received will be used to further structure the startup to offer new products for the Brazilian photovoltaic market.

Thiago Silvano, CEO of SolarZ, states that despite being at a seed stage in investment, where ideas and products begin to be validated, the startup achieved significant growth, of more than 600% in the last year.

He believes that with this contribution it will be possible to begin a new phase of SolarZ, bringing other solutions and attracting even more qualified professionals to the company's talent pool.

“While a innovative startup, which grows month by month, SolarZ fits very well into the investment line of these funds. We started in 2020 from scratch, until we reached the mark of more than 200 thousand monitored plants, closing deals with 2,3 thousand integrators. We have rocket growth and are working to offer various solutions for the solar energy market”, explains Silvano.

Currently, SolarZ is part of the largest entrepreneurship center in Latin America, Cubo Itaú, and was also selected for the final stage of the international innovation program promoted by EDP. All of this enabled a greater connection with other entrepreneurs in Brazil and around the world, for the development of the company.

With the entry of Bossanova – the largest investment fund via venture capital in Latin America with more than a thousand companies invested in the portfolio – and Domo Invest – managed by the founders of the Buscapé platform – there will be significant growth for the startup, which will also receive intelligent preparation so that progress can be made in an accelerated and structured manner.

In addition to monitoring photovoltaic systems, which assists in after-sales processes, SolarZ intends to launch its own CRM platform, helping integrators with sales and customer relationship management.

Another product that should soon enter the solar energy market is the SolarZ Bank, which aims to offer credit to people and companies that want to invest in solar energy.

“SolarZ has stood out as one of the main teaching platforms for solar energy entrepreneurs through SZ Educação, where we have already developed more than 2,6 entrepreneurs in the photovoltaic sector in various areas of management and sales”, explains Fábio Furtado, CMO and CCO of SolarZ.

The executive also states that SolarZ intends to allocate part of the investment to a project that began in January 2022, which is the SolarZ Summit, where national events are produced in several Brazilian states, in order to bring even more knowledge about the solar market to entrepreneurs in the sector.
