A Solis was listed as the third largest global inverter manufacturer in of MW sold, for the second consecutive year. The survey was carried out by Wood Mackenzie..

“I am delighted that Solis has been ranked so highly for another year, and that it has maintained its position as the third largest inverter manufacturer,” said Sandy Woodward, Solis general manager for Europe and South Africa.

According to her, during 2022, in the energy storage segment, the company achieved annual growth of more than 500%, representing 18% of total operating revenue.

“This memorable expansion can be attributed primarily to our dedicated team of more than 4,5 people across all major continents, but also to our strong brand recognition, strong market competitiveness and deep commitment to R&D,” added the executive.

According to Solis, in 2022, investment in R&D increased significantly by 74%, reaching a total contribution of US$45 million. Currently, the company has an annual production capacity of 40 GW, and plans to double this number to 80 GW in July 2023.

More recognition

The news was celebrated by the manufacturer, which highlighted a series of awards and recognitions received in recent months. “At the beginning of the month we were awarded Top Brand PV Inverter 2023, for Belgium, granted by EUPD Research”.

“We also recently received the same seal for the Netherlands and South Africa. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Solis has been recognized by the EUPD, based on 100 interviews carried out in more than 50 countries”, concluded Solis in note.
