Supermarket chain will save R$220 per month with solar

According to the company responsible for the project, this will be the largest private photovoltaic plant in the state of MS

The state of Mato Grosso do Sul will expand its solar generation capacity. This is because a 28 MWp plant will be inaugurated this Saturday (2,23), in the municipality of Naviraí, for the JChagas Group, owner of the supermarket chain Fogo Atacadista and Mercados Chama.

According to Geração Solar, the company responsible for executing the project, this will be the largest private photovoltaic plant in the state. In total, 5.236 425 W Q Cells modules and 11 160 kW Ingeteam inverters were used. On average, the system will produce 266.423,53 kWh/month.

“The environment is an issue for our company. Furthermore, this investment brings competitiveness in the market, improves the company's numbers and, consequently, generates more contributions and job creation”, said Fábio Chagas, director of the JChagas Group.

“Our state has been growing in installed photovoltaic energy capacity. In this case, this project adds to the MS numbers and begins to gain more prominence at the national level. Solar has a great benefit that is not only financial, it also contributes a lot to sustainability”, added Weslei Elias, co-owner of Geração Solar.
