Tesla launches Powerwall 3 and reveals plans for Brazil

Tesla brought big news at this year's Intersolar Europe by revealing its latest launch, the Powerwall 3. This new generation represents a significant advance over its predecessor, the Powerwall 2, which has been on the market for about a decade.

Ao Canal Solar, the company reported that the highlight of the Powerwall 3 is the incorporation of a hybrid inverter directly into the system, a substantial improvement that eliminates the need for an external device, as was the case in the previous version.

According to the manufacturer, this integration promises to significantly simplify the installation and operation of Tesla's residential energy storage system. The Powerwall 3's integrated inverter is equipped with three MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Trackers).

With a capacity of 13,5 kWh and a power of up to 11,04 kW in the single-phase version , the Powerwall 3 is suited to meet the energy needs of modern homes. Tesla is also already focused on developing a three-phase version product to further expand your portfolio.

In addition to its advanced technical capabilities, the equipment maintains a commitment to ease of use, weighing 130 kg and designed for simplified installation and maintenance.

Although there are still no concrete plans for the distribution of Powerwall 3 in Brazil, the company maintains interest in the Brazilian market. Considering Elon Musk's appreciation for the country, it is possible that the product will be launched in Brazil in 2025.
