The Smarter E Europe: largest renewable energy event takes place in Munich

The Smarter E Europe, one of the world’s largest renewable energy events, will take place from 6 to 9 May 2025 in Munich, . The conferences will take place from 6 to 7 May and the exhibitions from 7 to 9 May.

The event brings together exhibitors and visitors from all over the world to showcase the leading innovations and technological solutions for the renewable energy and storage sector.

Access to all exhibitions The Smarter E Europe (Intersolar Europe, ess Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe) take place at the west, east and north entrances of the International Congress Centre Messe München. In addition, a free shuttle bus runs between the entrances. 

Intersolar Europe's s include: Photovoltaic technology market; Financing of solar projects; Artificial Intelligence in the solar sector; Agrivoltaic and floating power plants.

The ees Europe Conference will discuss: Market trends; Energy storage; Regulation of storage projects and Battery life cycle.

Power2Drive Europe will address: Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles; Integration of electric vehicles into the electricity grid; Business models in electric mobility; Bidirectional charging technologies and Digitalization and automation.

During EM-Power Europe, the following topics will be discussed: Smart energy management; Integration of decentralized renewable sources; Digitalization and artificial intelligence in electricity grids; Demand flexibility and energy storage; and Planning and modernization of electricity grids.
