A Living opened a solar power plant de GD (distributed generation) with installed capacity of 2 MWp in Rolim de Moura, in interior from Rondônia.

The plant was developed by helexia and aims supply the company's operational units of telephony. 

All energy produced by the plant will injected into the SIN (Integrated National System) and will become credit to Vivo, which will save you money on your electricity bills. 

Aurélien Maudonnet, CEO of Helexia Brasil, explains that the energy generated in Rolim de Moura can be used by Vivo in any municipality in the Energisa Rondônia concession area.

“In addition, the project will show other companies the potential for generating renewable energy in the region, bring jobs to residents and show the city’s contribution to combating climate change”, he highlighted.

O solar park built by Helexia also has the forecast to increase installed capacity by 50%. With this, the enterprise will begin to produce a total 3 MWp. The area for construction is already ready and work is scheduled for the coming months.

Vivo highlights that the implementation of this solar plant is part of the map of the company's decarbonization, aiming to achieve the carbon neutrality and the diversification of the energy matrix in different regions of the country. In addition to solar energy, the plan also involves the installation of hydro and biogas plants.
